Online Workshop - Raising Financially Confident Young Adults

Description

Raising Financially Confident Young Adults

A practical online workshop for parents, grandparents, and families

Young adults are stepping into adulthood with more financial decisions than ever, from debit cards, payment apps, subscriptions, and social media spending to credit cards, student loans, online scams, and the everyday challenge of learning how to manage money.

This online workshop is designed to help parents, grandparents, and families start practical, productive money conversations with the young adults in their lives.

During the workshop, we’ll discuss how to help young adults build financial confidence through:

  • Understanding money coming in and going out

  • Making thoughtful spending decisions

  • Recognizing the influence of social media and lifestyle pressure

  • Building saving habits

  • Understanding credit, debt, and student loans

  • Protecting themselves from scams and financial fraud

  • Clarifying family expectations around financial support

Registrants will receive a Young Adult Budgeting Workbook and Budgeting Worksheet, which we’ll walk through together during the workshop. These tools are designed to help families continue the conversation at home and give young adults a simple framework for understanding income, expenses, saving goals, and next steps.

This workshop is educational, practical, and designed to make money conversations feel less overwhelming... because financial confidence is built one conversation at a time.
