We’re excited to celebrate our fourth year supporting the Dr. Piper Center’s Annual Christmas Day Celebration by hosting a toy collection site and volunteering on Christmas morning. This year, we're also proud to make a donation on behalf of our clients, contributing to an event that has been bringing joy to our community's at-risk  children for over a century.

While this is our fourth year participating, the Dr. Piper Center’s Christmas Day Celebration will mark its 109th year. The tradition began in 1915, when Dr. Ella Piper’s mother, Sarah Williams, hosted a gathering for 15 young girls, planting the seeds of a cherished community tradition. After Sarah's passing in 1926, Dr. Piper continued her mother’s legacy with the help of local churches, businesses, and friends, turning the celebration into a community-wide event.

Today, nearly 600 boys and girls gather each Christmas morning at the Dr. Piper Center to experience the magic of the holidays. The event has become a beloved tradition in the Dunbar community, uniting neighbors, volunteers, and local businesses in the spirit of giving.

For those interested in joining us to support this meaningful tradition, here are some of the ways you can get involved:

1. Volunteer
   Join us in spreading holiday cheer by helping to sort and assemble donated gifts ahead of the event or by volunteering on Christmas morning to bring joy to the children attending. If you’d like to participate, please reach out to our team, and we’ll be happy to assist you with signing up.

2. Donate a Toy or Bike
   We will have a donation box in our lobby to collect new, unwrapped toys and bikes until Thursday, December 12th. Toy donations can also be made through the Dr. Piper Center's Amazon Wishlist and shipped to 2607 Dr Ella Piper Way, Fort Myers, FL 33916.

3. Make a Financial Contribution
